ASSEMBLMAN FINCH PROMOTED TO MINORITY WHIP

     Assemblyman Gary D. Finch (R,C,I - Springport) has been promoted to the leadership position of Minority Whip in the Assembly Republican Conference.  Finch previously served as Deputy Minority Whip for the past two years.  As Minority Whip, Assemblyman Finch will be responsible for assisting the Minority Leader on the floor during legislative session, ensuring attendance of minority party members and counting votes.

     "I take my leadership responsibilities very seriously and would like to thank Leader Kolb for the trust that he has shown in me by appointing me as Minority Whip," said Finch.
