ASSEMBLYMAN FINCH ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN VENUE FOR OWEGO OFFICE
Change comes amidst flooding in Tioga County
Assemblyman Gary
Finch (R,C-Springport) today announced his Owego office has been forced to
move because of massive flooding in Tioga County. Finch’s office was
flooded out during the horrific floods last week and has been forced to
move to a new location on Front Street in Owego.
“The Tioga County Arts Council has been gracious enough
to allow us to use a portion of their building on Front Street here in
Owego,” said Finch. “Following our mobile office on Monday and its success
in guiding
people in the proper direction for flood relief, I feel it is imperative
that we keep our office up and running during this difficult time so the
residents of my district that were affected by the flooding have someone
they can go to. I know the devastation this flooding has incurred on New
York state and my district and I want my constituents to know I am
available to guide them through the process of securing funds for their
damaged homes and businesses.”
Finch noted there are state applications for flood
related grants available at his office and residents can stop by or call
the office to get the necessary applications. Finch’s new office is
located at 179 Front Street in Owego. A temporary office phone number is
available for residents to call Assemblyman Finch’s office at (607)
687-0785.
