LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS UNION ENDORSES FINCH

     AUBURN – The Law Enforcement Officers Union, Council 82, has endorsed Assemblyman Gary D. Finch (R,C – Springport) as he seeks his fourth term in the New York State Assembly.

    “Public safety, and protecting our children, are my highest priorities as a legislator,” Finch said. “I am honored that Council 82 has chosen to endorse my candidacy once again.”

    Council 82 represents law enforcement officers from across New York State who work for many different state agencies and municipalities.

    “The members of Council 82 appreciate your support and look forward to working with you on initiatives important to our membership,” Council 82 President James F. Lyman wrote to Finch in a congratulatory letter.

    Finch has long been a forceful advocate for the courageous work done by law enforcement personnel each day.

    “These officers do not receive enough thanks for bravely risking their lives to protect ours, and it is my duty to make sure that they are strongly represented in Albany,” Finch said. “I will continue to fight on behalf of law enforcement officers, and all of my constituents in the 123rd district, when re-elected on November 7.”
