Statement from Assemblyman Gary Finch
Re: Reaction to Governor Spitzer
 

     "I am shocked and saddened upon hearing the news that the governor of the State of New York has admitted to participating in a prostitution ring.  This could not have happened at a more crucial time as we are in the middle of budget negotiations."

     "The budget process is very complicated and the Governor's admission presents a major stumbling block to the process.  It is in the best interest of the people of the State of New York for Governor Spitzer to resign."
