ASSEMBLYMAN FINCH SECURES
$24,000 IN LIBRARY GRANTS
Grants for local libraries
to provide books for children, renovation
Assemblyman Gary D. Finch (R,C-Springport)
today was pleased to announce that he has secured grants for local
libraries in the 123rd Assembly District to purchase
children’s books and other funds for capital improvement and
renovation projects.
“I am pleased to help provide
learning materials for children. Our libraries are valuable assets
that are unmatched in our communities and I feel it is important to
help facilitate learning wherever possible,” Assemblyman Finch said.
In addition to the funding for
books, this year Assemblyman Finch was able to secure $5,000 for the
Hazard Public Library in Poplar Ridge for their
Library Building Expansion Project and another $5,000 for Peck
Memorial Library’s capital projects in Marathon.
